So I’ve been trying to take more creative self-portraits lately, mostly just for myself, but I always get stuck on which angles actually flatter me. Like, sometimes I think a shot looks good in the mirror, but then on camera it feels off — either too stiff or just not highlighting the right features. I’m not trying to edit the hell out of it either, just want to understand what works for my body naturally. Anyone else run into this and found a way to figure it out?

Kinda stumbled into this thread while browsing around and gotta say, the discussion is more thoughtful than I expected. I don’t usually read much about photography, but there’s something cool about how people here approach it from a self-expression angle instead of just chasing perfect images.
Absolutely know what you mean about it. It took me a while to figure it out, too - I used to think symmetry was key, but sometimes the best angles are a bit unexpected. It helped that I took a number of photos from different angles and under various lighting conditions to determine what stood out. I recently found a great post on how to take pussy pics that talks about just such things - you can read full giude for tips on framing, experimenting with poses, and finding the best angles. It's not just about posing, it's about knowing your body and how it interacts with the lens.
